Did you know that people first created processes to remove their unwanted tattoos as many as 1500 years ago?
During the past 1500 years, various methods of tattoo removal have been created, tested and (many) rejected for lack of successful results. Of the more successful tattoo removal methods, one common thread is evident: the use of chemical peeling agents.
For more information about the history of tattoo removal, read this study.
If you've been thinking about tattoo removal options, don't forget to consider chemical tattoo removal. Unlike laser tattoo removal, chemical tattoo removal is much more affordable and when using products like Nuviderm, treatments can be done at home.

Tattoo Removal Creams: Same as Nuviderm?
So you may be wondering if tattoo removal creams are the same as Nuviderm at-home fade and tattoo removal. The answer is NO!
Tattoo removal creams commonly contain hydroquinone, which is a carcinogenic that has been banned from many European and Asian countries. This harmful ingredient can lead to darkening of the skin in the treated area, which is the exact opposite result wanted when trying to remove a tattoo!
Nuviderm is not a cream and does not contain hydroquinone. Nuviderm at-home fade and tattoo removal contains TCA, which is a common skin peeling agent used by dermatologists, health spas and cosmetic surgeons. Nuviderm is a liquid solution that when mixed with distilled water, effectively allows you to fade and remove your tattoo at home. Hear what Nuviderm users have to say about Nuviderm and removing tattoos.

Are TCA Tattoo Removal Methods Successful?
According to a six-year medical study (performed from 1979 to 1984), approximately 85% of patients using TCA for tattoo removal were pleased with their results!
The tattoo removal medical study used a solution of TCA and distilled water to remove tattoos on 670 patients. The entire tattoo removal process and results were published in the study "The treatment of tattoos with TCA: experience with 670 patients" in the March 1988 issue of British Journal of Plastic Surgery.

TCA is the active agent in Nuviderm, an at-home fade and tattoo removal, making it an effective at-home tattoo removal treatment that is also affordable. Find out more about how Nuviderm removes tattoos.

Hate That Tattoo? Making Them Easier to Remove
In the future, tattoo removal could be an easier process because of a new type of ink called Infinitink that can be removed in as little as one laser tattoo removal treatment. Time magazine covered this new technology for tattoo removal in a story in June 2009:
Hate That Tattoo? Making Them Easier to Remove
But what if you already have an tattoo you want removed? Instead of multiple expensive laser tattoo removal treatments, save money and try a TCA tattoo removal product like Nuviderm. Nuviderm is an at-home fade and tattoo removal product that is guaranteed to work. For less money than laser tattoo removal, Nuviderm has a number of tattoo fade and removal products available.

Don't Want Your Tattoo in a Photo?
Have an embarrassing tattoo you want to get rid of before your wedding photos? Don't want your upcoming family portrait to include the tattoo you regret?
You could go through a tattoo removal treatment like laser removal, but the process can be very expensive, could take months or years to work and sometimes does not work at all.
Don't worry about feeling embarrassed about your tattoo, there are other options! One option is through the use of Nuviderm, an at-home fade and tattoo removal treatment.
Tattoo removal treatments won't help to fix the photos you've already had taken, but here's a video to show you how to take care of that using Photoshop.
Find out more about how to start getting that tattoo removed now--before your next important photo is taken!
